The Royal International Air Tattoo is an annual event held at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.

Every year cadets from all over the country go to RAF Fairford to help out with the air show. It is a two-week camp, which may sound like a long time, but it is well worth it. RIAT is an awesome camp where you can meet a load of different people. You make loads of new friends and have a great time. Although there is a lot of hard work involved you get a free air show with front seats and you are allowed to go in the aircraft that are on static display. You also get some fantastic food from the Belden Diner and a lot of freebies

This RIAT was the best RIAT I have ever been on. I’m hoping to go next year and meet a load more cool people. I would really recommend it. Smile
