At the end of october this year i travelled to Dundee to do my flying scholarship with Tayside Aviation. Only 150 cadets get selcted from the whole of the corps each year so it was an excellent oppurtunity.

Whilst i was thereĀ i was learning how to fly the PA28 warrior which is a small 4 seater aircraft. The course involves both theory and practical lessons but most of the time is spent in the air flying. While there i made some new friends and got the chance to have a look around dundee.

I managed to do just under 7 hours whilst i was there and unfortunately had to stop before i could finish the course. However i hope to be going back in the near future to finish the course and gain a solo flight. Im really looking forward to going back because everyone there is so nice and easy to get along with, its a lot of fun and an amazing oppurtunity.
